St. Augustine Anglican Church
Established in North Dakota by Bishop Ordinary Randall J. Pike, St. Augustine was founded as a “Church Without Walls.” Its mission reflects the apostolic model of ministry—going out to meet people in their places of need, rather than requiring them to come to a fixed location. In this way, the church actively brings the presence, care, and sacramental life of Christ into the everyday contexts of those it serves.
The Most Reverend Randall J. Pike serves as Acting Moderator of the Communion of Anglican Churches International (CACI), Bishop of the Diocese of the Great Plains, and Bishop Ordinary of St. Augustine Anglican Church in North Dakota.
Transitional Deacon William De Oliveira is a licensed and accredited chaplain currently working to establish a St. Alcuin Theological Seminary Study Center within a correctional facility in Columbus, Ohio. Serving a population of more than 6,000 men, the Columbus Study Center will provide incarcerated students with opportunities to gain a clear, foundational understanding of the Christian faith and pursue formal theological education grounded in the Anglican tradition.
Deacon William De Oliveira holds a Master of Divinity and brings more than 20 years of experience in pastoral ministry and leadership formation to St. Augustine Anglican Church. A native of Brazil, he enriches his ministry with pastoral sensitivity and a valuable cross-cultural perspective. He also serves as a hospice chaplain in the local community, faithfully pursuing a calling that has shaped his ministry for many years. Deacon Oliveira is scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood in St. Augustine Anglican Church of the Communion of Anglican Churches International (CACI).
